The tools on this site run inside your browser. Values you type into a converter and files you drop into an image tool are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us. There is no account system, no login and no database of user submissions, because there is no server-side component that could receive them.
Ordinary web server logs may record the page you requested, your IP address, the time of the request and your browser's user agent string, in the same way any website does. These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
This site is free and is funded by advertising. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users may opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Advertising does not change how the tools work. Nothing you convert, calculate or generate is shared with an advertiser, because that data never leaves your browser in the first place.
Image conversion uses your browser's own canvas: the file is decoded, redrawn and re-encoded locally, and the result is offered to you as a download. The file is not transmitted anywhere and is discarded from memory when you leave the page. As a side effect of re-encoding, camera metadata such as GPS coordinates is not carried over into the converted file.
Advertising and analytics cookies are switched off until you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time. Declining leaves every tool on this site fully working.

If analytics are enabled, they are used to count page views and understand which tools are worth building next. They are never linked to the contents of what you convert.
